THE MUTUALLENS CHECKER
Follow-back checking,
with the context intact.
Upload your followers and following files. MutualLens immediately shows who appears in following but not followers, with search, profile links and complete exports.
Compare your files
Select supported Instagram JSON, HTML or ZIP relationship files. Search the resulting lists, change categories, sort by username, and download CSV or JSON reports. You can also save snapshots in this browser and compare compatible sources.
Upload comparison needs no username, date or confirmation checkbox.
Automatic checking is currently unavailable. Use your Instagram files to compare followers and following.
What your uploaded report means
Followers and following are compared as supplied. Mutuals appear in both; the primary non-followers category is following minus followers. Ordinary supported uploads are assumed complete for this mathematical comparison, without establishing the current state on Instagram.
Known missing parts, skipped rows or conflicting identities qualify the usable results instead of hiding them all. Ambiguous identities are isolated from negative comparisons. A whole missing direction remains an error. A recognized empty list is valid.
No arbitrary account-size cutoff
The comparison does not truncate lists at a follower or following count. Browser memory protections and source limits still matter. A safe resource failure should explain the limit and stop processing, not quietly return a smaller complete-looking report.
Privacy follows the workflow
Imported files are processed on your device. Saving is off by default, and you can delete app-controlled local snapshots. A future automatic workflow would involve MutualLens’s backend and an acquisition provider processing the requested account data; it would not be entirely on-device.
The checker runs on a separate browser origin from these public pages and contains no advertising or marketing scripts. Read the privacy policy for storage and hosting limitations.
One report cannot explain intent
An account absent from a supplied list may never have followed you, may have changed its username, or may reflect a source or timing difference. A current report does not prove a historical unfollow. Learn how to interpret changes.
